Hyde-DC encourages each student to become a well-rounded individual.  Our Co-Curriculum program provides opportunities that help students to broaden their horizons and gain skills to be competent in athletics, performing arts, community service, and other areas that will enrich their lives.

At the Elementary School level, students participate in Physical Education, Music, Art, Computer Technology, and Foreign Language. Students also participate in a Performing Arts shows twice a year.

The Middle School Co-Curriculum program is designed as an enrichment program. Each student participates in different classes throughout the school year.  Co-curricula classes offered during the 2008-09 School Year will include Creative Writing, Young Entrepreneurs, Film, Step, Performing Arts, Dance, Journalism, Photography and more!  The classes are designed to provide each student with the skills necessary to be competent in the areas offered and are graded based on effort and attitude.

Each High School student must take and pass a minimum of three seasons of Athletics, three seasons of Performing Arts, and 200 hours of Service Learning.  All high school students report to their co-curricular activities following the end of the academic portion of their school day.
